Gazzetta del torneo 2a edizione.

Dopo 2 lunghe settimane, la coppa del mondo è finalmente giunta al giro di boa; Giappone, Belgio, Cile e Inghilterra da ripescate si giocano l'ultima chanche di approdare ai quarti di finale insieme alle altre squadre. Un Giappone soprendente che riesce a strappare la sua opportunità nonostante il difficile girone, Buona anche la prova del Cile che con 6 punti e in un girone difficilissimo si qualifca come migliore terzo ma dietro alla colombia solo per lo scontro diretto perso. Discorso differente per il belgio che ha fatto vedere un buonissimo gioco ma ricavando meno punti del previsti ha dovuto lottare non poco in un girone davvero difficoltoso, sicuramente la Nazionale belga può ancora dare tanto, non ha ancora sfruttato al massimo tutto il potenziale a disposizione ma ha la chanche giusta per approndare in finale. Adesso i 2 big match fra le ripescate sono Belgio- Jappone e Cile inghileterra.

Francia e Costa D'avorio hanno guidato con estrema disinvoltura i rispettivi gironi, finendo per essere le squadre a pieni punti, dalle fantastiche puniizioni di Griezmann al velocissimo Pepe hanno sbaragliato le difese avversarie a suon di gol, 1 parola: Favorite!. Sia la Francia che la Costa d'Avorio, aspettano di sapere i loro avversari tra Belgio-giappone, cile e inghilterra, attenzione alle sorprese.

L'argentina invece nel girone insieme all'Italia ha avuto un esordio difficile contro una Corea Del Sud molto agguerita che è riuscita a strappare un pareggio insperato, nonostante tutto sia la formazione celeste insieme agli Azzurri, pian piano hanno imposto da subito il loro gioco e le loro potenzialità nel girone classificandosi rispettivamente come 1a e seconda ai danni di un Brasile che nonostante una buona partenza non è riuscito ad ottenere la qualificazione e deve tornare a casa insieme alla corea. Italia e Argentina si incontreranno di nuovo nei quarti, ironia della sorte sono state sorteggiate contro!.

Buona anche la prestazione del Senegal che strappa un buon secondo posto alle spalle della costa d'avorio e seguito dal belgio, entrambi qualificati. Mentre è grande la delusione che accompagna il marocco di Salah che non riesce a entrare nel torneo come dovrebbe e viene eliminato clamorosamente. Gran bella sorpresa anche la Colombia, al suo debutto nella modalità Full Manual centra 2 buone vittorie contro Messico e Cile qualificandosi al secondo posto del girone. Senegal e Colombia si incontreranno nei quarti di finale. Soprendente invece l'eliminazione della croazia, che non riesce ad ingranare, nonostante il nuovo allenatore, viene eliminata dal torneo in maniera abbastanza clamorosa, tuttavia il mister di nazionalità americana è fiducioso per il futuro.

andiamo ad analizzare insieme la seconda fase del torneo; pronti via le ripescate si affrontano in 2 match che hanno il sapore dell'ultima occasione. Incredibilmente il Giappone riesce a strappare una clamorosa qualificazione ai quarti battendo un Belgio dato per favorito, probabilmente la squadra belga ha peccato di presunzione ed è stata amaramente punita da un Giappone cinico fino alla fine che non ha concesso niente. Dall'altra parte del tabellone il Cile con grande sopresa riesce ad accedere ai quarti insieme alle altre eliminando un'Inghilterra in piena forma che probabilmente avrebbe meritato qualcosa di più.

Quarti di Finale
le partite dei quarti si configurano come segue quindi: Giappone vs Costa d'avorio , Francia vs Cile , Colombia vs Senegal ed Argentina Italia; pronti via e subito c'è una grossa sopresa: il Giappone diserta la partita in programma con la Costa d'avorio cedendo agli stessi l'accesso diretto alle semifinali; Nello stesso giorno l'armata francese infligge una dura lezione ad un Cile smarrito che non riesce a resistere ai blues, scatenati Giroud, Mbappe e Griezmann, costringono la nazionale sudamericana a tornare a casa. La partita più attesa però e sotto i riflettori è Argentina Italia, da sempre una classica; gli azzurri sfornano una grandissima prestazione, Insigne, Bonaventura ed Immobile mettono 3 sigilli che valgono la semifinale tanto sperata, l'Argentina torna a casa con grossi rimorsi per l'occasione mancata e sopratutto per l'ennesima occasione mancata da Messi in nazionale. Invece a discapito di ogni pronostico che dava la Colombia in semifinale, il Senegal grazie a un Keità scatenato viene trascinato alla vittoria contro una Colombia che si mangia 2 clamorose occasioni da rete e viene cosi punita dalla nazionale africana che comunque resta una delle grandi sorprese della coppa.

Semifinali:
Senegal - Francia e Costa d'avorio - Italia. Sono queste le 2 grandi partite che andranno a delineare la finalissima. La francia è la grande favorita e la nazionale senegalese lo sa bene, nonostante tutto per la Francia si rivela una partita durissima e senza esclusioni di colpi; clamorose le occasioni da una parte e dall'altra, forse il Senegal avrebbe meritato almeno un pareggio ma cosi non è andata. Per quanto riguarda gli azzurri, C'è la corazzata africana della costa d'avorio davanti e fa paura, ma nonostante tutto Chiesa e florenzi con 2 fiammate mettono al sicuro subito il risultato, sopratutto quando la costa d'avorio con Zaha accorcia le distanze, la difesa azzurra sembra vacillare ma alla fine gli azzurri resistono e all'89 con Jorginho mettono il sigillo definitivo sul match; gli azzurri sono in finale.

Finale:
tutto pronto per la partita più importante. Italia e Francia si contengono la coppa del mondo, il trofeo più ambito, entrambe le formazioni sognano di vincere alla vigilia rilasciando interviste fiduciose. Pronti via! la Francia tenta l'affondo subito come ha fatto più volte nel torneo e si porta subito sull' 1-0 grazie ad una girata incredibile di mbappè in area su un cross dalla destra...
